This program was initiated by Irene Boisvert in 2004, with the purpose of helping the less fortunate of the area through the Loaves and Fishes project, which is sponsored by the Dominican Sisters.

The fundraiser is limited to 300 participants. To assure that the fundraiser always has 300 participants, there is a standby list of those who express interest in joining if any of our 300 current members has to leave the program.
